Manufacturer Trained & Certified

Fire extinguishers require service, maintenance and inspections that should be completed by factory authorized, manufacturer trained and certified fire extinguisher companies actively licensed in the State and City where you live for fire extinguisher service, maintenance, test or inspection.

Organization Trained & Certified

NAFED certified fire extinguisher companies have proven a level of knowledge, skill and experience for additional assurances.

NAFED (National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors):
offers certifications to fire extinguisher companies and their technicians with programs administered by ICC (International Code Council).

Fire extinguisher companies that receive a NAFED certification have proven a measure of knowledge, experience and skill
in fire extinguisher service, maintenance and fire codes.

Fire Extinguisher Service Companies and Contractors

May need to be actively licensed or certified to pass fire code, OSHA, or insurance underwriter requirements.

Licensed by the State

Work with State licensed fire protection service companies
for installations, service, repairs, maintenance, tests or inspections on installed systems to pass fire codes
Some States require service on fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire suppression or fire alarms with a specific and active license for that system.
