We no longer use cookies in development of our products. Many cookies are controlled by third-parties. When a website decides to use cookies, they must embed their website with third-party coding. We have learned over the years, to not use other peoples things, especially digital coding.

Why cookies are not needed?
We do not store user logins, profiles or preferences. Besides we do not wish to add unknown vulnerabilities to our website visitors.

Our only third-party is a merchant processor, that re-directs from our website to their website to complete payment. This helps reduce our liability from storing user data.

This also improves the safety of the user making the payment, ensuring their credentials and card numbers are protected by the merchant processor.

Think of Third-Party Cookies as a roommate. Do you even know this roommate, where they came from or if they possess ethics, morals or values. Worse could this third-party roommate invite other squatters to habitat within your home?

What are Cookies?

Does a little pop-up box really "Put you in control" over all cookies? How can you ensure website visitor safety if you are unaware the liabilities from third-parties or what they may elect to change.

  1. First-party cookies:

    Set by the website you visit; generally safer, website host uses them for functionality like remembering user login, login session or user settings/preferences.

  2. Third-party cookies:

    Set by external domain hosts; often used for tracking and advertising, posing higher privacy risks. These cookies are "Not Under Control" of the website host (that's right, the website you wanted to visit does not control these third-parties) the host may want to use them for website visitor tracking, but the third parties want to target your website visitors.

    A cookie is innocent, until its corruption, when the third-party decides to infringe upon the rights of the website host, not informing them properly of what the cookie will do to their website visitors, it also infringes upon the rights of the website visitors who ultimately get tracked and may become susceptible to targeted advertisements (that they will be inclined to purchase).

    Third-Party cookies (are your friends that only like you for your money) collect your user interests and behavior, not from just one website, but from all of the websites you visit.

    So when it comes time to spend your money, they have all the advice and pushed notifications ready for you.

  3. Zombie-party cookies:

    Automatically regenerates after deletion, making them difficult to manage from browser. These are used by web analytics and data mine operations. Zombie cookie lawsuits occurred, causing Adobe Flash Cookies to change their policy (method of use) after lawsuits including Disney, Warner Bros and Verizon in 2015.

    If these type of cookies were never deleted from your computer. Then they still exist on your computer or mobile device.

  4. Session-party cookies:

    Session or session party cookies are temporary first-party cookies that should only exist for the single browsing session, and "should" automatically delete after closing the browser.

  5. Did you know?

    If you want to build a website and want to use pre-existing templates, online menu builders, wordpress apps and plugins, responsive image holders and much more.

    That you may become the host to transporting third-parties, cookies, and even virus and more, just because you want the easy template builder. Take the time to learn what you will promote. The host of a website is the liable party, why become liable for third-parties that you do not know?

  6. Clean Install, Start Fresh

    When in Doubt

    Clean it out, delete browser stored cookies. Not sure if you got them all? Clean install, re-format drive, re-install operating system, remove "third-party bloatware", reset user security settings and privacy preferences, before using browser, reset all passwords and "know the websites you visit".
